Each of the lower floors has a one-bedroom flat
and a studio flat. A two-bedroom flat that sleeps 5-6 persons occupies the top floor. All
of the apartments are tastefully furnished throughout. Each has a kitchen area with stove,
microwave, refrigerator, and washer/dryer, and a bathroom with bathtub/shower. Apartments
have color TVs but lack telephones. Warmth is provided by individually controlled heating
radiators. Cleaning services are provided weekly. All apartments are inspected annually.
Parking is available on-street only. The buildings main entrance is always locked.
The welcoming, accessible, owner/host resides in the building.
 
Edinburgh is best known for its great castle
and the Holyrood Palace, both within a few minutes of the Terrace Apartments. Edinburgh
has many exclusive shops, including several devoted to Scottish themes of tartans and
Scotch whisky. The city hosts a number of important festivals throughout its year,
especially the annual Edinburgh Festival (of the arts) each August and the concurrent
famed Edinburgh Military Tattoo, as well as Scotlands largest Hogmanay (New
Years) celebration, and William Wallace Day.

Edinburgh has numerous museums and galleries,
many of which are near the Terrace apartments. Using Edinburgh
as a touring base, it is possible to visit several areas of Scotland by public
transportation (railway), including Glasgow, Inverness,
Stirling, St Andrews, Aberdeen, Oban, and Fort William. Edinburghs principal rail
station, Waverly Station, is about one mile from the apartments.
Golfers will enjoy
Edinburghs close proximity to many of Scotlands great seaside links courses on
the Fife and Lothian coasts, including St. Andrews, Muirfield,
and North Berwick.
