From the northern end o' the mainland John o' Groats south to Fort William beyond maybe-monstrous Loch Ness, from the fierce North Sea lining the eastern Aberdeenshire shore to the convoluted Atlantic coastline of Wester Ross and the Isle of Skye, Northern Scotland offers many of Scotland's great attractions set amid ever-changing scenery.
