With three coasts plus a variety of interior settings, England offers numerous quality
links courses and a broad selection of parkland courses that give visitors a great choice
of course types, course scenery, and course challenge. Golf clubs in England may be
private and exclusive, public and welcoming, and something in between. Most courses
welcome guests, and, some offer club rental and motorized cart rental, making it easy for
overseas visitors to play. Exclusivity is rarely an impediment to play. Only a few famed
championship courses may require that guests provide a handicap card from the USGA
certifying the candidate's proficiency at the game in order to obtain a tee time.
See
the following charts for information about some excellent courses within reach of
HOME AT FIRST locations in DEVONSHIRE, THE COTSWOLDS, SHROPSHIRE & CHESHIRE, LONDON, THE LAKE DISTRICT, & YORKSHIRE.
FREE ADVANCE BOOKING OF TEE-TIMES!
HOME AT FIRST can
pre-arrange golf tee times at many of the courses listed below for its England guests
after they sign up for their trip to England. There is no additional booking charge for
this service, and golfers can arrange to play a different course each day if they wish,
paying only the regular guest fees at each golf course.
Guests can easily arrange the own tee times independently in England, as weather and their
mood dictate, but it's best to do so at least 24 hours in advance (especially for the
top-rated courses).
