ON BOARD A FERRY IN STOCKHOLM HARBOR

• First stop Stockholm, beautiful capital of Sweden.
   In Stockholm explore the myriad islands that make this lovely
   city the Venice of the North.

    (Option: the small university city of Uppsala may be added or exchanged
     for Stockholm.)

• West to Lakeland. Next, drive southwest 3-5 hours to
   Lakeland and explore Sweden’s beautiful rural interior around
   the great lakes of Vδttern and Vδnern. You'll discover history,
   pre-history, and pastoral beauty in this region.

• To the West Coast. Then drive 3-5 hours west from Lakeland
   to Sweden’s West Coast, home to charming coastal towns
   tucked among the inlets and islands of Bohuslδn. The food

• Gothenburg. Finally, drive south 2-4 hours to Gothenburg,

   Sweden’s 2nd city known for Dutch canals and superb restaurants. Explore its
   modern harbor by boat, walk its old city center, and become a kid again at Liseberg
   amusement park. Fly home from Gothenburg.
