The Scandinavian Masters is one of the European
Tours major events with many of the top European golfers expected to participate. It
draws the second highest number of spectators at a European Tour sanctioned event and
offers prize money totaling over $2 million. For the 7th time, the tournament will be
played at Barsebäck Golf Club, situated outside Malmö, in southern Sweden, from July
26-August 1, 2004. The 2003 Scandinavian Masters winner was Australian Adam Scott. The
Barsebäck Golf Club was also the venue for the Ladies PGA Solheim Cup 2003, and for the
mens Compaq Open in 1998 & 2000.
