Getting Around Stockholm: Various Transportation Passes (even a combination Transportation/Museum Pass) are available for guests for unlimited use of the Stockholm's excellent trolley, bus, and subway system. Stockholm is a city built on many islands, some connected by bridges, some by ferry services. Many of the islands are small, compact and very walkable.

Getting Around Uppsala: Uppsala is a small city, compact and very walkable. Those with rental cars will find considerably less traffic here than in Stockholm. Rail services to Stockholm are very frequent—so take the train to the big city only 30 minutes away.
