HOME AT FIRST’s
West Country cottage lodgings
are located one-half hour north of Plymouth, close to the southwestern entrance
to
Dartmoor National Park. Adjacent to the mysterious wilds of Dartmoor,
within easy driving of
the English Channel
(south) and
the Bristol Channel (north) coastlines, our cottages are
ideally located to explore regions top attractions, inland or along two coasts.
And, because they practically straddle the border of western Devonshire with
eastern Cornwall, they provide a perfect location from which to explore all of
England's West Country.

"The
setting was gorgeous, the house lovely, our hosts gracious. The location
made it a vacation in itself. The gardens were lovely and the hills
around full of cute sheep and horses. It was in walking distance of a
nice pub, and convenient to Dartmoor National Park and to the shore."
