HOME AT FIRST’s
Scottish program is set in a romantic landscape of stunning beauty: the lochs
and mountains of the very center of Scotland. Our accommodations are cottages in
or near picture-postcard villages and towns still undiscovered by tourist
throngs. |

From the Central Highlands, Edinburgh and Glasgow are each as close as 90
minutes away. The wild, lonesome Munros (highest mountains) and moors of the
Highlands continue to extend to the north. This legendary landscape draws
visitors looking to discover the secrets of Celts, Picts, Scots, Druids, and
that greatest of Highland mysteries, Nessie, the reluctant dragon of Scotland’s
deep, black Loch Ness.

"At Orientation your staff did a marvelous job of introducing us
to the area, acquainting us with day trip opportunities,
reminding us about the roundabouts and just generally making us
feel that we had help that was close by in case we ran into any
difficulty."
